I founded Haven Homes in 2002 by bringing together a team of dedicated professionals; including builders, craftsmen, architects and planners.
Our first project at Pettinain, South Lanarkshire was in the heart of the community in which I grew up and where my family still live. I knew that I would ultimately be held accountable by my family, friends and neighbours for insuring that Raeburn Common was a positive addition to the community, that the houses blended with the landscape and that the new homeowners became satisfied neighbours. We achieved what we set out to achieve and have since used these same guiding principles in other local projects, including the latest at Black Mount, Elsrickle.
James Tennant, Haven Homes Site Manager
I have been building houses in Lanarkshire for almost 30 years and in that time I've handed keys to many happy new customers. I am a qualified builder, CITB registered and time served Joiner. I was one of the founders of Haven Homes and have been involved in all their projects since 2002.
In Elsrickle, I'll do what I always do; be the first person onsite when we break ground and the last man to leave after the cleaners have left. I know that being involved in a new build project can be daunting, worrying and exciting; therefore I am always available to answer any queries you may have about your home specification and scheduling.
Mike Kelly, Haven Homes Quantity Surveyor
I joined Haven Homes in 2003 as Quantity Surveyor. I have a BSc Hons Quantity Surveying and have previously been involved in prestigious civil engineering and building projects including award winning Sheffield City Centre, Home Office and Council Housing Maintenance works, Homes for the Future Glasgow 1999, Liverpool City Centre Regeneration.
At Haven Homes, it's my job to ensure the building works are on schedule, to the standard we demand and to make sure there are no surprises along the way.
